Welcome, Friends!

If you enjoy creative pursuits and you want a place to let it all hang out, you've found your spot. All are welcome to join this creative community and feel free to spread the word.

The goal is to spend a few hours with one another, one Sunday afternoon per month, while working on our stuff -- the stuff that there never seems to be time for at the end of a long day or during a busy weekend.

Painters, sculptors, photographers, writers, composers, designers, gardeners, hobbyists, thinkers, dreamers, those who don't yet know but you just have a little feeling about it, please join. If you knit, you're welcome. If you bake, you're welcome.  If you're a cartographer, you're welcome. If you make short work of a coloring book, you're welcome. If you enjoy bedazzling, you're welcome. It's really quite open to any creative endeavor.

The benefits are boundless.
We can share ideas, techniques, tips of the trade, supplies, support, and smiles...

A few things to know in advance:

1) I will post the location and time for each monthly gathering on this blog. For now, I have reserved craft rooms at our local libraries. We will have tables, chairs (enough for 50ppl) and a common sink.

2) Each person is responsible for bringing and cleaning up all of their materials, including protective table-cloths/towels if using messy materials.

3) There is no pressure here. No pressure to share opinions, no pressure to give or receive critiques, no pressure to interact, no pressure to perform or produce anything at all. This is just a space full of friendly people looking for the opportunity to be part of a group while working on stuff.

4) Lastly, if all goes well, this will grow to be a diverse group of people with flourishing work. This space will remain a communal work space and is not intended for promoting or selling wares/work, or hosting lessons/classes. Should that change or a need develop, that can be organized separately. :)
